Lady Tigers Claim Clinton Prairie Invitational Title

FRANKFORT — The Warsaw volleyball team captured the Clinton Prairie Invitational championship Saturday in Frankfort.
On the day, the 24-6 Warsaw Lady Tigers defeated Clinton Prairie (25-19, 25-15), Adams Central (25-23, 25-12) and Brownsburg (27-25, 25-21) on the way to the title match, where they defeated Class 2A No. 5 Providence 25-19, 13-25, 15-11.
In the four matches, Jamie Lacheta posted a team-high 26 kills and seven aces, while Chloe Hubner had 65 assists and Alex Sanchez posted 30 digs.
Also, Emily Poe had 19 kills and Katie Voelz finished with a team-high six blocks.
The Lady Tigers are at Class 4A No. 2 Penn tonight.
