Warsaw’s girls tennis team wrapped up its regular season, with the exception of one match, with a 4-1 win over Goshen Monday.
The meeting was moved to the Warsaw Tennis and Fitness Club due to rain.

Thursday in Leesburg
Wawasee saw an old, self-imposed nemesis, the double-bogey, return in its golf match with Penn and LaVille Monday evening. Penn was four shots better than Wawasee, 161-165, with LaVille turning in a 186 at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.
“We got back in our bad habit of having big holes,” said Wawasee head coach Steve Coverstone via fax. “When we reduce the double (bogeys) and more, we play well. Take out a couple of holes for most of the guys and we scored OK.”
The Warriors are right back at it this afternoon, taking on Northern Lakes Conference foes Northridge and Goshen at Maplecrest Country Club on Goshen’s north side.
