Kennedy Fierstos had eight points and Sydney Day added seven points to the winning cause. Manchester trailed 19-15 at halftime, but outscored Southwood 17-5 in the decisive third quarter. “An excellent team win tonight. Our defensive effort in the second half was critical to get a win against a good Southwood team,” Manchester head coach Jacob Everett said. “I was very pleased with our offensive execution down the stretch of the game.” Manchester improved its record to 7-5 overall and 2-2 in the TRC. The Lady Squires will travel to Caston on Tuesday.
