Lady Squires Win 50-38GAS CITY – Cierra Carter and Bailey Sewell had 13 points each to lead Manchester to a 50-38 non-conference win at Mississinewa in girls basketball action Friday night. “The team battled a tough shooting night early, but we were able to play outstanding team defense throughout the game,” Manchester head coach Jacob Everett said. “We executed in the second half on offense and continued the tough defense as well.” Sydney Day added seven points for the Lady Squires, and Emma West had six points. Kiera Hatfield, Kennedy Fierstos and Erika Kendall had three points each, and Ellie Milam scored two. The Lady Squires will take a 5-1 record into a non-conference game at Winamac at 7:45 p.m. today.
