Lady Squires Second At Golf Sectional, Advance To Regional

HUNTINGTON – The Manchester girls golf team advanced out of Saturday's Huntington North Sectional. Played at Huntington's par-72 LaFontaine Golf Club, Marion finished first with a 341, while Manchester was second with a 402 and Wabash was third with a 407. The top three finishers will now take part in the East Noble Regional Saturday at Cobblestone Golf Course in Kendallville. Marion's Kayla Adamson was the medalist at the sectional, shooting a 76, followed by Manchester's Lindsey Budnik, who finished with an 80. Also for Manchester, Jasmine Whitaker shot a 102, followed by Claire Barnett's 105, Nina Smith's 115 and Erin Working's 151. H.
