LaCrosse No Match For Lady Trojans In Sectional Action

BOURBON — The Triton girls basketball team didn’t get much resistance in advancing to the semifinals of Class 1A Sectional 51.
Following No. 1 Oregon-Davis’ 77-53 win over South Central, the host Triton Lady Trojans dismantled LaCrosse, 72-28.
Triton advances to face Argos Friday night, following the 6 p.m. game between Oregon-Davis and Culver.
During the regular season, Triton defeated Argos 53-25 at home in the second game of the season.
Against LaCrosse, junior Kylie Mason led the offense with 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting, followed by senior Taylor Hatfield’s 11 and junior Hannah Jennings’ 10.
Mason also had six steals, while junior Krystal Sellers had nine points to go with five assists and four steals.
