Based on their performances at last Friday’s IHSAA girls track and field state finals, Warsaw seniors Jamie Lacheta and Sarah Ray have been invited to take part in the Midwest Meet of Champions. The meet is only comprised of seniors and will take place June 15 at Fort Wayne Northrop High School. According to its website, the Midwest Meet of Champions is one of the longest running postseason high school track meets in the nation. Qualifying for the meet, Lacheta was 10th at the state meet, while Ray finished 11th in the 3200.
