Kristina Kay “Krissy” Blocher, 38, South Whitley, passed away at 9:30 a.m. May 21, 2014, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Feb. 14, 1976, in Warsaw, to John and Sharon Bills Holden. She was married Feb. 10, 1997, in Warsaw, to Gabriel Blocher. She attended Warsaw Community High School and was a bartender at Green Parrot, South Whitley, for the past year. She was her mom’s Valentine baby and would dance around the living room with her mom was she was little. She was very giving and compassionate and was always the life of the party – you knew when she was in your presence. She loved music, shopping, getting manicures and pedicures, family vacations and NASCAR (she was a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan). Young at heart, she was greatly loved by her many nieces and nephews. She loved the people she worked with and cared about the patrons, but most of all, she lived for her children. Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Kay (Moser) Blocher, and Bryleigh Parker Blocher, both at home; two sons, Tyler Scott and Jacob Lynn Blocher, both at home; her mother, Sharon, and stepfather, Charles Kaltenbach, Warsaw; five sisters: Laura (and spouse Scott) Campbell, Warsaw; Kim (and spouse Jeff) Hurd, Mentone; Shawnee Greene, Syracuse; and Pam (and spouse Darren) Jones, and Delena Koch (and fiance Wes), all of Quincy, Ill.; three brothers: Todd (and spouse Sherry) Pippenger, Bourbon; Chad (and spouse Steve) Kaltenbach, Warsaw; and Chuck Kaltenbach, Quincy; a sister-in-law, Kim (and spouse James) King, Pierceton; three brothers-in-law: Eric (and spouse Melissa) Blocher, Columbia City; Tracy (and spouse Shelly) Blocher, Warsaw; and Sarah Blocher, Pierceton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wayne Holden, who died June 1, 2000. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor David Cripe, Freewill Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
