Bill Kovach, Warsaw Community Schools Career and Technical Education director, went to Washington, D.C., this past week to discuss issues relating to career and technical education and funding the Carl D. Perkins grant. He spoke about how it is important Carl Perkins grant funding is and how it helps support equipment purchases and professional development for highly technical classes that train students in pre-engineering, biomedical sciences, precision machining, welding, and computer networking, programming and repair.
