NOTICE OF THE JOINT NOBLE-KOSCIUSKO COUNTY DRAINAGE BOARD FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE JURISDICTION, COMBINATION OF DRAINS AND PERIODIC MAINTENANCE OF THE CROMWELL SYSTEM To Whom it may concern and the following landowners whose notices were returned undeliverable: Finlinson, Thomas and Marilyn Fultz, Tim and Keely Geiger, Ruby Hile, Ron Jones, Robert Lehman, John E and Esthel Miller, Robert and Coralee Myers, Maro Reynolds, Danny Lee and Lori Lynn Reynolds, Lori Lynn Rogers, Crystal Smith, Tharon and Tamela Yoder, Fredrick The Joint Noble-Kosciusko County Drainage Board, will hold a public hearing in the matter of the Jurisdiction and Combination of Drains within the Cromwell System and the Periodic Maintenance of the Cromwell Watershed. The hearing will be held on MONDAY AFTERNOON, JANUARY 10, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A & B of the NOBLE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY CENTRAL", located at 813 East Main Street, Albion, Indiana. The Jurisdiction, Combination, and Periodic Maintenance Hearings for the Cromwell Watershed shall all be identified as "Cromwell Hearing #2011-01." The report of the Noble County Surveyor and the PROPOSED schedule of assessments are available for inspection at the Noble County Surveyor's Office, 2090 N. - SR 9, Suite B, Albion, Indiana. If your land is affected by the surveyor's report or the proposed schedule of assessments, you may object to the report or the schedule. You may file with the drainage board written objections to the report, the schedule, or both- The written objections must be filed in the Noble County Surveyor's Office, 2090 N. - SR 9, Suite B, Albion, Indiana 46701, five (5) days before the date of the above scheduled meeting. On or before the day of the hearing, the Noble County Surveyor shall, or any owner of land named in the schedule of assessments may, cause written evidence to be filed in support of or in rebuttal to any objection filed as mentioned above. The drains to be combined as part of this hearing are all regulated drains (tile and open) that currently exist within the Cromwell Watershed as well as those that would be converted by the drainage board at this hearing or in future public hearings. One drain has specifically been petitioned to be converted from a mutual drain to a regulated drain. The request to convert a portion of the Cromwell open drain will be addressed at this hearing. That portion of the Cromwell open drain petitioned to be converted at this hearing beings at this confluence with the Cromwell tile in Section 7 of Sparta Township and continues upstream, following the existing open drain through Section 7, 8, 9 and 16 of Sparta Township, Noble County, and ending at the Kimmell-Cromwell Road.
