Kosciusko Dems Set Jefferson-Jackson Dinner

Kosciusko County Democrat party will hold its annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner Sept. 25.

The dinner will be at Ramada Plaza, Warsaw, with social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Kip Tew will be the featured speaker.

Tew has worked in government affairs field since 1989.

Tew was the state chair of the Barack Obama presidential campaign in Indiana. He also is the former chairman of the Indiana Democrat party.

He also served as chief legal counsel to then minority leader and Speaker of the House Patrick Bauer.

He has been an advisor in various statewide campaigns, including deputy campaign manager for Governor Joe Kernan. He also worked on campaigns for the secretary of state, the United States Senate and governor.
