NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given, that the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission shall hold a public hearing on a petition filed by Limberlost Girl Scout requesting an amendment to the Turkey Creek Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance, to reclassify from a Public Use District to an Agriculture District, the following real estate, located: 007-117-005. an 500 E & EMS D15 Syracuse and described as follows, to wit: A tract of land in the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 30, township 34 north, range 7 east, described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of said section 30; thence north along the east line of section 30, 235 feet; thence north 89 degrees 50 minutes west 648.8 feet to an iron pipe; thence south 235 feet to the center line of County Road 950 North (being the south line of the northeast quarter of section 30); thence south 89 degrees 50 minutes east along the center line of said road 648.8 feet to the place of beginning, containing 3.50 acres, more or less. A tract of land in the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 30, township 34 north, range 7 east, better described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of said section 30, 235 feet, north of the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of said section 30; thence north along said east line of section 30, 425 feet to a railroad spike; thence north 89 degrees 50 minutes west, 1320 feet to an iron pipe; thence south 660 feet to a railroad spike in the center of County Road 950 north (said center line of County Road being the south line of said northeast quarter of section 30); thence south 89 degrees 50 minutes east along the centerline of said road, 671.2 feet to a point; thence north, 235 feet to an iron pipe; thence south 89 degrees 50 minutes east, 648.8 feet to the place of beginning, containing 16.50 acres, more or less. This change is requested to permit the above described real estate to be used for the purpose of Agricultural Uses as defined by the Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance. The hearing will be held at: Commissioners Room Court on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 1:00 pm. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments will be considered if they are received in the Office of the Kosciusko County Planning Department, Court House, no later than 12:00 Noon on the day of the hearing.
