The Kosciusko County Hazard Mitigation Steering Committee will host a public information and strategy planning session at 6:30 pm on August 31st at 121 North Lake Street. At the August 31st meeting, the impacts of predetermined disaster scenarios and the draft risk assessment will be presented. Furthermore, the steering committee will begin formulating strategies and mitigation activities for each potential disaster. The steering committee is interested in receiving public input on the plan. It is the purpose of this notification to inform and invite the residents of Kosciusko County to the information and strategy planning session on August 31st. Each county drafts a unique Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan; therefore, contributions from area residents are critical to its success. a26,28,29
