Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce plans a roving patrol and sobriety checkpoint this month. This project is made possible through grants received by the Governor's Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving. DUI: Taskforce Indiana is a year-long statewide project aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes, deaths and injuries. With the increase in traffic during the summer months, the DUI Taskforce is committed to making the roads safer by their increased presence and DUI enforcement throughout Kosciusko County. Kosciusko County DUI: Taskforce Indiana roving patrols and sobriety checkpoint is July 29 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.The sobriety checkpoint will be at Homestead Backyard Grille, 9665 S. Ind.15, Silver Lake. Law enforcement agencies involved include Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Mentone Police Department, Milford Police Department, Pierceton Police Department, North Webster Police Department, Silver Lake Police Department, Syracuse Police Department, Warsaw Police Department and Winona Lake Police Department.
