The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce’s Healthcare Committee has partnered to offer the Kosciusko Community Wellness Fair on Saturday.
This event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA and will provide community members with free head-to-toe health screenings from local healthcare providers, according to a news release from the Chamber.
“Committee members from Lutheran Kosciusko, Goshen Health, Parkview Health, Bowen Health Clinic, Parkview Warsaw YMCA and Live Well Kosciusko have been working for the past year to bring together our world class healthcare partners for this event," said Rob Parker, president and CEO of the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce. “We’d like to thank the K21 Health Foundation for their sponsorship of the event, as well as acknowledge the significant resources our local nonprofits and various community organizations are providing to help positively impact the health of our community."
Services offered include bone density, blood pressure, stroke, hearing, vision and sleep apnea assessments as well as area providers speaking on popular health topics, flu shots, blood donation, kids’ activities and more.
You must be 18 or older to receive any assessments at this event, and mammograms require pre-registration. If you would like to register for an A1C screening, reserve a time slot via the YMCA’s Calendly site, but walk-ins are welcome. To register for a mammogram, call 260-266-7570.
