Ride+Walk Warsaw+Winona Lake announced the Zagster Race to 1,000 Challenge!
Kosciusko Bike Share is nearing 1,000 members and it needs the public’s help.
1. Visit one of the four Kosciusko Bike Share stations: West Market Street on the Zimmer Biomet West campus, the Warsaw Community Public Library, The Village at Winona and Gordon Recreation Center.
2. Create a membership: A one-year membership for the general public is $12.50 through the end of May. Rides under two hours are free. Membership discounts for students and Zimmer Biomet employees.
3. Ride.

While you’re out and about on your Zagster Bike, take a moment to check out the new bike lanes on Fort Wayne Street running from Park Avenue to Bronson Street. There have also been new intersection markings added at Smith Street and Winona Avenue.
According to the news release provided, “Bicycle and pedestrian safety is of upmost importance to Ride+Walk Warsaw+Winona Lake and we are proud to continue to advocate for safer paths for non-vehicular travel. Warsaw and Winona Lake are designated a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists.”
