Organizers say the July 1 Kool Kruise at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds was a success.
Ron’s Angels were Avaleigh Fuller, Londyn Higgenbotham and Addison Tignor; they were escorted into the fairgrounds by Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer in Dan Sumwalt’s Mustang convertible.
Thallemer chose Bob Tucker’s vehicle for the Mayor’s Choice Award. Tucker is from Warsaw.
Best of Show was given to Jeffery Smith, Rochester.
The burn-out contest was won by Doug Walls, Pierceton, beating his own son, Brek Walls, Pierceton, and Doug Owens, also from Pierceton.
“A good time was had by all and I want to thank Kosciusko County Fair Association and Larry and Jeanette Wood, R&B Car Co., Akron Concrete, because without them, this would not have been possible,” said organizer Ron Prater. “A special thank-you goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Curt Shepherd for bringing out their circus wagon for the kids to enjoy complimentary rides in. And thank you to all of my family and friends who came out to help.”
