Shawn Konkle's Eagle Project was helping Sgt. Arturo Garcia, of the local National Guard unit, send 3,600 care packages to troops in Iraq. Through collecting items from churches to selling Pokemon cards, Konkle was able to send troops some much-needed things to be used during their tour of duty. Pictured is Konkle receiving his award from his Scoutmaster, along with his many letters of recognition from the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, State Senate and local Congressmen.
