Kokomo Man Arrested on Molestation Charges

The Kokomo man wanted by police on allegations that he molested and had sex with two young boys has been arrested.

Bradley D. Hannah, 34, was booked Wednesday into Kosciusko County Jail on formal charges of Class A and Class C felony child molesting. A warrant for his arrest was issued in June after the mother of two young boys called the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department June 13 to report that Hannah had been molesting her two children.

According to Hannah’s probable cause affidavit, the woman told deputy J.D. Ayres that early this month she left the children in Hannah’s care at the man’s Kokomo home. When she returned, the woman asked her 5-year-old son what he did while she was away, and the boy said Hannah forced him to perform a sex act.

The boy also told his mother than Hannah had sex with him and sodomized him, the affidavit said.

The incidents occurred both at Hannah’s Kokomo home and at Hannah’s place of employment, the affidavit said.

The woman told Ayres that when she confronted Hannah about the allegations, he said, “If it happens again then they would do something about it,” which the woman perceived as an admission, according to the affidavit.

The woman also said that Hannah’s business partner told her that Hannah had confessed to him about the molesting, the affidavit said. During an interview with that man, he told police that Hannah said he did not hurt the children during the acts “because he used lotion,” according to the affidavit.

Hannah is being held on a $100,000 bond.

Hannah was also charged in Howard County Superior Court for the acts police allege he performed on the children in Howard County.
