SYRACUSE - Professional storyteller Carol Knarr returns to tell the family-friendly concert Spooky Stories Oct, 24 at Syracuse Public Library at 2 p.m.
"This concert is entertaining and meant for the entire family. There are many odd and strange stories that have happened in Indiana as well as the local area. I try not to dwell on hauntings or ghosts, but there is a poignant and sweet beyond-the-grave story that took place in Leesburg I love to tell," Knarr said.
Spooky Stories will contain folklore, urban legend and personal stories. This concert is not intended to scare, but rather to entertain.
"I grew up loving the spookiest of stories. Our family would tell them again and again. I love to jump and be held in suspense, but especially love the release of laughter when the characters of the story are safe again," Knarr said. This event is free to the public.
Knarr recently relocated to Portland, Ind., where she teaches theater for Jay County High School. Contact her for future storytelling needs at carol@carolknarr.com or online at www.carolknarr.com
