KNAPP LAKE AREA CONSERVANCY DISTRICT - NOTICE OF INTENT

    Knapp Lake Area Conservancy District (799 South Circle Drive East, Cromwell, IN 46732) is submitting a Notice of Intent to inform the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of their intent to comply with the requirements of 327 IAC 15-5 (Rule 5) for the discharge of storm water from construction activities for an wastewater collection system project. The project includes the installation of a pressure sewer system around Knapp Lake, a lift station, a force main to North Webster, and a short segment of vacuum sewer with related appurtenances to connect the force main to the Town of North Webster’s system.  Pressure sewers and force mains will be installed via directional drill. Improvements are located in Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, 16, 17, and 18; Township 33 N; Range 8 East in Washington Civil Township, Noble County and in Sections 12, 13, and 14; Township 33 N; Range 7 East in Tippecanoe Civil Township, Kosciusko County.  Construction is scheduled to commence in March 2014 and should be completed in May 2015.  Runoff from the project site will discharge to Knapp Lake, Little Knapp Lake, Little Bause Lake, Harper Lake, Webster Lake, or Baugher Lake.
