The Kosciusko Leadership Academy met Monday at DePuy for a session on "Leadership Training" moderated by Steve Grill, dean of community and non-traditional education at Grace College.
Grill led the class members through illustrations and personality cues to further think about and verify their own personality preferences, to build upon a session held in early October. Students were encouraged to think about how different personality types fit in teams and daily interactions. Grill also discussed presentation skills, which he believes to be the most learnable and teachable leadership skill.
KLA will meet again at the Education Summit Nov. 29 at Lakeland Christian Academy from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Admission is free, but registration is required. To register, call the Chamber of Commerce at 574-267-6311 or e-mail info@wkchamber.com by Nov. 26.
