FORT WAYNE – Farmer and businessman Kip Tom, a Republican candidate for Congress in the 3rd district, has signed the U.S. term limits pledge. “If we want to change Washington, we have to change who we send there,” Tom commented. “We have too many career politicians looking out for their next office, and not enough citizen legislators. Enacting term limits would help ensure that Congress is focused on the next generation, not the next election.” The pledge states that the signatory will vote for a Constitutional Amendment which will limit the Congress to three terms in the House and two terms in the Senate.
