The Dekko Foundation and Kosciusko County Community Foundation announced Tanner Dickerhoff, a Kosciusko Endowment Youth Services member, is the newest representative of Philanthropic Ideas, Strategy and Heart.
PhISH is a group of young people who inform and advise the Dekko Foundation’s work in the field of youth philanthropy. PhISH members also have a chance to build their leadership and philanthropy skills through their participation.
Dickerhoff said, “I’m so excited to be the newest PhISH member. It’s a huge honor and I can’t wait to get started!”
Dekko Foundation representative Jenna Ott said, “The Dekko Foundation involves many young people in philanthropic work through its Youth Pod initiative. But PhISH is a group of Youth Pod members who are especially interested in that work. These young people want to swim a little deeper into the field of philanthropy.”
PhISH is composed of 12 participants. Following a rigorous and challenging application process, Dickerhoff was accepted as a PhISH member. He will work with other young people across the Dekko Foundation’s grant-making areas to advance youth philanthropy and community service.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation Program Officer Dee Anna Muraski said, “I’m very proud of him as this is a huge honor for him. PhISH is about youth philanthropy and Tanner exemplifies that idea. He is going to represent KEYS and the community well.”
