Warsaw Community High School senior Alex Hall (R) reads 'The Very Lonely Firefly' to Eisenhower Elementary School second-graders Tuesday as Kosciusko County Community Foundation board member Alan Alderfer looks on. Hall is a member of Kosciusko Endowment Youth Services. Today, as part of 'Read Across Kosciusko County,' 20 KEYS members traveled to the 15 public and private elementary schools in Kosciusko County to speak and read to more than 1,000 second-grade students. They encouraged the students to read. Each second-grade student received a pencil to remind them to read, and each second-grade classroom received three books. Library card applications to the libraries in the county also were distributed. This is the third year KEYS has held 'Read Across Kosciusko County.'
