Kevin W. Bailey

AKRON – Kevin W. Bailey, 37, Claypool, passed away at 4:55 a.m. Sept. 26, 2013, at his residence. He was born Aug. 4, 1976, in Warsaw, to Luther and Annie Manns Bailey. On March 26, 2004, in Claypool, he married Shanna Sexton, who survives. He was a mechanic and a 1995 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. He was a member of the National Beagle Association of America. He enjoyed rabbit hunting with his beagles as well as fishing. He was a fan of the Miami Dolphins and Tony Stewart, a NASCAR driver. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his boys. Also surviving are his parents; two sons, Alexander and Cayden Bailey, both of Akron; two sisters, Lesa (and spouse Roger) Blanton, Mentone, and Aimee (and spouse Michael) Dunn, Woodstock, Ga.; and two brothers, Charley (and spouse Penny) Bailey, Warsaw, and Ronald Bailey, Silver Lake. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastors Henry Arnett Jr. and Alvin Allen officiating. Burial will be at Akron Cemetery.
