NAPPANEE - Kevin Borkholder, 38, of 210 S. Main St., Lot 3, Etna Green, died at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 29, 2008, in Hospice House, South Bend, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 19, 1969, in Elkhart, to Perry and Martha Borkholder.
He was a NorthWood High School graduate and a truck driver for Mac's Transport.
Surviving are a son, Loren Borkholder, Argos; his mother and stepfather, Martha and Jerry VanDenBerg, Niles, Mich.; his father, Perry Borkholder, Etna Green; two brothers, Randy Borkholder, Etna Green, and Larry Borkholder, Pierceton; a sister, Retha Peterson, Nappanee; a stepbrother, Jeff VanDenBerg, Niles; and a stepsister, Rachael VanDenBerg, Niles.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Brethren Church with the Rev. Tom Schiefer officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mike Smith. Burial will be in Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery, Nappanee.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
