MILFORD - Kerry Weidner, 52, of Milford, died Oct. 12, 2009, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born May 28, 1957, in Plymouth, to Earl and Lois Umbaugh Weidner. On July 29, 2006, he married Jacqui Schultz, who survives.
He worked at Medtronic for 18 years. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1975, attended Purdue and graduated from Indiana University. He excelled at high school sports in both baseball and basketball.
Also surviving are two sons, Joshua and Jordan Weidner, both at IU, Bloomington; a daughter, Alyssa Weidner, at home; a stepson, Fred Hoyle, Milford; a stepdaughter, Emma Hoyle, Milford; two brothers, Kevin (and spouse Carolyn) Weidner, Glendale, Ariz., and Keith (and spouse Jill) Weidner, South Bend; four sisters: Karen Prebys, Greenwood; Kathy (and spouse Kenny) Thomas and Karol Weidner, all of Chesapeake, Va.; and Karla (and spouse Fred) Malecki, Granger; and his father, Earl Weidner, Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford.
Calling is from 4 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
