SILVER LAKE – Kerlin Motors is celebrating its 89th year of serving northern Indiana throughout the month of May, with an open house planned for Saturday. The company was started in 1927 by Russ Kerlin and is now run by his grandson, Rick Kerlin. The family has taken pride in serving their customers and their community and this has been noticed by the Ford Motor Co., which has recognized them with more customer service awards than any other Ford dealer in the country, according to a release from the business. The anniversary celebration open house will feature special pricing, give-aways and food served by the Kerlin family as a thank-you.
