A near-record 1,254 coats were collected this year for the annual Kerlin Family of Businesses Coat Drive. The coats, along with hats, gloves and mittens will be donated to Combined Community Services of Kosciusko County, a local non-profit organization that serves the county’s low-income residents. This year’s Coat Drive concluded on Friday, Oct. 23. Widman Business Group and Peerless Cleaners will provide the laundering and dry-cleaning of the donated items.
