NAPPANEE - Kenneth Wayne "Jake" Gall, 83, of LuAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee, died at 6:30 a.m. May 11, 2009, after a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 31, 1925, in Nappanee, to Roscoe Lloyd and Evelyn Lutes Gall.
He was a lifetime Nappanee resident. He retired from Mutschler Brothers, Nappanee. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the Nappanee American Legion and formerly of Nappanee Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving is a sister, Shirley (and spouse Jerry) Wringer, Nappanee. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a half-brother.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Sam Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Stony Point Cemetery, with military graveside services by Nappanee American Legion.
