NAPPANEE – Kenneth V. Emerick, 99, South Bend, died at 5:40 a.m. April 24, 2015, at Hospice House, South Bend. He was born May 8, 1915, in Warsaw, to Oscar Ray and Dessie Alice Linn Emerick. On Nov. 11, 1945, in Syracuse, he married Mary E. Teeter, who died April 19, 2000. He was a World War II Army veteran. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial is in South Union Cemetery with military graveside services by Nappanee American Legion.
