Kenneth 'Kenny' L. Rollins

SYRACUSE - Kenneth "Kenny" L. Rollins, 70, of Cromwell, died at 8:10 p.m. Dec. 11, 2007, in Avalon Village Nursing Home.

He was born July 9, 1937, in Huntertown, to Ernest and Adah Reed Rollins.

A lifetime area resident, he was a self-employed construction worker; a mechanic at Monsanto, Ligonier; and set burial vaults with Charlie Michaels. He was raised in the Methodist Church and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4717, Wolf Lake, and American Legion Post 243, Ligonier. He was a Cromwell High School graduate and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Surviving are two brothers, Herman (and spouse Gail) Rollins, Goshen, and Eugene (and spouse Beverly) Rollins, Syracuse; a sister, Irene Fisher, Cromwell; and a daughter, Tammy, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Knepper's Reception Hall, Kimmell, with Pastor Don Poyser officiating and with full military rites. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the reception hall.

Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
