Kenneth E. Wilson, 64, of Pierceton, passed away at 8:20 a.m. April 22, 2012, in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

He was born Feb. 23, 1948, in Fort Wayne, to Howard and Margaret Neher Wilson. On Dec. 18, 1971, in Hicksville, Ohio, he married Lana M. Green, who survives.

A 39-year resident of Pierceton, he was a platter polisher for R.R. Donnelly & Sons, Warsaw, retiring after 40 years of service. He attended Pierceton United Methodist Church. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army Infantry from 1967-69 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Pierceton Lions Club and served as past president and treasurer.

Also surviving are two daughters: Karen (and spouse Walter) Braunsdorf, South Bend, and Cheryl Wilson (and companion Robert Martinez), Hayward, Calif.; a sister, Pam Hinrich, Churubusco: five brothers: Jim (and spouse Ann) Wilson, Decatur; Carl (and spouse Bonnie) Wilson, Larwill; Keith Wilson, North Webster;  Jon (and spouse Cheri) Wilson, Spencerville; and Kevin (and spouse Sharron) Wilson, Philadelphia, Pa.; a brother-in-law, David Crooks, Churubusco; and grandchildren: Ayr’un, Justin, Mariclare and Opalruth Braunsdorf, Marie Queen and Robert “Buddy” and Charles Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cynthia Crooks.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw,  with Pastor Holly White officiating and with military honors by members of American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126. Burial will be private.

Calling is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with a Lions memorial service at 3:30 p.m.
