WINCHESTER - Kenneth E. Robbins, 90, of Winchester, died Sept. 28, 2010, at Reid Hospital.
He was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Lynn, to E. Earl and Carrie Cooper Robbins. He married Nancy R. Hanford, who died March 30, 2006.
He moved to Centerville in 1925 and lived there until 2009. He was a 1938 graduate of Centerville High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Pacific during World War II. He was a self-employed carpenter for 56 years. He was a member of Winchester Friends Church.
Survivors include three sons, James (and spouse Carol) Robbins and Keith (and spouse Debbie) Robbins, all of Etna Green; and Bruce (and spouse Linda) Robbins, Indianapolis; two daughters, Cathleen (and spouse Dennis) Spaulding, Portland, and Karen (and spouse Dean) Edwards, Winchester; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mills Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., Centerville. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
