Kennedy To Be New WHA Director

Posted

Pam Kennedy is the new executive director of Warsaw Housing Authority.

Effective June 16, Kennedy assumed the duties recently vacated by Laura Kaufman, who took a position with Combined Community Services.

"We are pleased to have her because of her experience working with the city and the housing programs," said WHA board president Bob Kline.

Kennedy, who has been with the WHA for 14 years, previously served as the agency's housing programs manager.

Kline said Kennedy's knowledge of building rules, work with other government agencies and grant writing will be a benefit to the WHA.

Kennedy's hiring was announced Monday at the WHA scheduled board meeting. However, there was not a quorum to conduct regular business at the meeting, which will be rescheduled.

WHA meets at 5:15 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month in the WHA office on South Union Street, Warsaw. Board members are Bob Kline, Dennis Cultice, Pat Ellis, Joel Curry, Brian Grantz, Jennifer Mitchell and Wayne Walston. Bill Rhoades is the city council representative on the board.
