Keith W. Leverenz, 77, of Warsaw, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 4, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born May 11, 1935, in Waldo, Wis., to Howard and Pearl Chapman Leverenz. On April 27, 1957, in Sheboygan, Wis., he married Nancy Bohrmueller, who survives.
A Warsaw resident since 1968, he formerly lived in South Bend. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954-56 as a PFC(T) with the 7th QM CO during the Korean War.
He was an architectural draftsman and worked at Miller and Sons Construction, Silver Lake, for 29 years and Indiana Truss, Syracuse, for three years. He founded and owned Architectural Estimate Design (Archtl-Est-Des) from 2000 to the present.
Also surviving are four daughters: Sheri (and spouse Faron) Stern, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Sandra (and spouse Mark) Green, Warsaw; Lori (and spouse Kevin) Jones, Fishers; and Lisa (and spouse Mike) Little, Fort Wayne; a brother, John (and spouse Jan) Leverenz, Three Rivers, Wis.; a sister, Alice (and spouse Joel) Conrad, Sheboygan; and grandchildren: Tara and Tracy Green; Scott, Brooke and Mitchell Jones; and Taylor and Blake Justice.
Services will be at noon Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
