COLUMBIA CITY - Keith R. Bower, 54, died unexpectedly at 7:56 p.m. Sept. 9, 2010, while working in Warsaw.
He was born Feb. 24, 1956, in Kosciusko County, to Lawrence and Mary Walters Bower. On April 27, 1991, at Columbia City United Methodist Church, he married Candy L. Gamble, who survives in Columbia City.
He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1974, and had been employed by R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, since 1975. He also recently began working at Wal-Mart, Columbia City. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf.
Also surviving are a daughter, Libby D. Bower, at home; a brother, Chuck (and spouse Karen) Bower, Goshen; and father-in-law Verlin Gamble, Huntington. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Penny Bower; and mother-in-law, Delores Gamble.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with Pastor Jean Ness of Columbia City United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
