Keith L. Evans, 79, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 1, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. He was born April 24, 1933, in Kosciusko County, to Lawrence and Ellen Bartholomew Evans. On Nov. 23, 1952, in Claypool, he married Bonnie J. Evans. He graduated in 1951 from Claypool. He was a machinist for Zimmer Inc. for 10 years and owned and operated Evans Plastic for 30 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of American Legion Post 49, Warsaw, and Moose Lodge 560. He served in the U.S. Army/Air Force and was honorably discharged June 23, 1953. Also surviving are two daughters, Rhonda (and spouse Rick) McConnell and Vicky (and spouse Tom) Hurt, all of Oceanside, Calif.; four grandchildren: Jobi (and spouse Matt) Roark, Erlanger, Ky.; John Jacop (and spouse Katie) Lucas, Indianapolis; Shawna (and spouse Billy) Yates, Mentone; and Alex Hurt, Warsaw; and six great-grandchildren.
