Kosciusko Development Inc. Board of Directors approved KDI's 2008 contract with the county Wednesday.

According to the contract, which also was signed by the county commissioners, the county will pay KDI $33,250 for economic development services.

KDI Executive Director Joy McCarthy-Sessing said the contract is for the same amount as the 2007 contract and requires KDI to provide matching funds after receiving $25,000.

In other news, the board approved the appointment of Syracuse Town Manager Henry DeJulia and Phend & Brown Inc. owner Dan Brown, Milford, to the KDI board.

The board also adopted a conflict of interest policy.

The next KDI meeting is scheduled for Oct. 24 at the Chamber of Commerce, 313 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw.
