The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of another scam involving people calling intended victims and telling them they are with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
They are using the proper names of current employees. Sheriff’s Office employees will never call and solicit money or ask for personal information, according to a news release from KCSO. This caller working the area today is using the number 574-800-5465, which is and has never been a telephone number associated with the Sheriff’s Office and is supposedly originating out of the South Bend area.
