Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to an accident at the intersection of Ind. 14 and Bouse Drive, Silver Lake, at 3:22 a.m. Sunday. Trevor L. Pace, 26, Julia Street, Claypool, was traveling westbound on Ind. 14 west of Bouse Drive. Pace told officers he swerved to miss a deer, and traveled off the ride side of the road, overcorrected and struck a utility pole and the vehicle rolled over on its top. Pace was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a head injury. Total damages are estimated at $10,000 to $25,000.
