Two county deputies recently were promoted by Kosciusko County Sheriff Rocky Goshert.
Rick Shepherd is now the second-shift road sergeant. He fills the position left vacant by the death of Sgt. Jeff Shaw, who was killed in an auto accident while on duty Nov. 12. Shepherd had been employed with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department since 2002.
Mike Mulligan is now the second-shift road corporal. He has been employed with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department since 2003. Before hiring on in Kosciusko County, Mulligan was previously employed with the Wabash City Police Department.
