The KCH Health and Wellness Center will hold a Health and Wellness 5K Run/Walk June 9 at 9 a.m.
Pre-race entry fee is $16 if received by Thursday. After Thursday, the registration fee will be $20. If participants bring in two non-perishable food items, $2 will be taken off either registration fee. Outdated food items will not be accepted.
There will be a $45 maximum charge for immediate family members if received by Thursday, or $43 with two non-perishable food items. After Thursday, the family fee will be $55. Three shirts will be guaranteed and additional shirts are $8 each. Each family member must complete a race form.
Only pre-registered participants will be guaranteed a short-sleeve T-shirt on race day.
On race day, registration will be in the lobby at the KCH Health and Wellness Center from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female runners, and to the top three finishers of each age group in the men’s and women’s divisions. Top winners from the men’s and women’s will be excluded for awards given to each age group.
Age groups include 12 & under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & up.
A high-density chip timing system will be provided for the race, ensuring accurate results.
