KC Recycling Offering Free Tire Collection Event For Kosciusko County Residents

Posted

KC Recycling announced today starts the week-long event exclusively for Kosciusko County residents: free tire collection and recycling.
Effective immediately through Friday Sept. 19, 2025, Kosciusko County residents can bring up to eight passenger-size tires to KC Recycling during regular business hours. The KC Recycling Depot, 220 S. Union St., Warsaw, is open Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch break between 11:30 a.m. to noon) and on Friday from 7 to 11 a.m.
This weeklong event supports environmental responsibility by helping keep unwanted tires out of landfills and the local landscape, according to a provided news release. To participate, tires should be clean and dry. KC Recycling asks all participants to ensure their tires meet these conditions, as excessively muddy or wet tires may not be accepted.
Eligibility requirements:
• Kosciusko County residents only
• Residents must provide a valid photo ID or proof of address upon drop-off
• Up to eight passenger-size tires accepted per household
• No cost for tire collection and recycling
• Tires must be clean and dry
• Available during regular business hours only at KC Recycling
“We are dedicated to making recycling accessible and convenient for our community,” said Director for KC Recycling Tom Ganser. “By offering this free tire collection program to Kosciusko residents, we hope to encourage proper disposal, reduce illegal dumping, and contribute to a cleaner environment for everyone.”
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of their old tires safely and responsibly. For questions or additional information regarding hours, location, or program specifics, visit www.kcrecycling.com or call 574-372-3087.
