Kay Sue Pittenger Obregon, 63, of Springfield, Mo., died June 11, 2010.
She was born to Donald and Catherine Pittenger. She married Amauro Obregon, who survives.
She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1965 and retired from Springfield Public School System. She was a member of North Point Church, where she volunteered two days a week.
Also surviving are three children, Melisa (and spouse Mark) Arterberry, Brian (and spouse Suzanne) Obregon and Brad (and spouse Candice) Obregon; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Don (and spouse Barb) Pittenger.
Services were Tuesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial was in Missouri Veterans' Cemetery, Springfield.
