Kay Norrine Teel, 60, passed away at 6:35 a.m. April 27, 2013, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw, where she resided since 2008.
She was born May 10, 1952, in Rochester, to Wilford Franklin and Beatrice Mae Dorell Teel.
She attended Beaver Dam and Akron grade schools. She was a client at Cardinal Center, Warsaw, where she also played in the handbell choir for many years. She competed in the Special Olympics and loved to bowl and draw.
Surviving are her mother, Beatrice Teel, Warsaw; two sisters, Toni Hopper and Vicki (and spouse Clair) Taylor, both of Warsaw; a brother, Bruce (and spouse Lorene) Teel, Warsaw; four nieces; two nephews; two great-nieces and one due in June; four great-nephews; three aunts: Sandra (and spouse Tom) Groninger, Warsaw; Mary (and spouse Don) Hawk, Florida; and Lucille Teel, Greenwood; an uncle, Fred (and spouse Diane) Dorell, Warsaw; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, who died Dec. 9, 2006.
No public calling or services are planned. A private graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
