The liquor license for Katie’s Kwik Mart in Leesburg was automatically renewed during Thursday’s meeting of the Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Board. State Excise Officer April Tackett allowed the renewal in the absence of the three board members. Also absent was any representation for Service Liquors East, whose hearing for renewal was continued from the December meeting. The store received three notices of violation during a visit from an undercover excise officer May 30: sale of alcohol to a minor, allowing a minor to loiter and failure to check identification. Licenses renewed without violations during the December meeting were Turf Bar, Milford; Lakeview Liquors, Silver Lake; Good to Go #95, Warsaw; Maria’s Original House of Pancakes, Warsaw; Time Out Inn, Warsaw; and Stonehenge Golf and Country Club, Winona Lake.
