NAPPANEE – Katie H. Yoder, 76, of 613 2nd B Road, Nappanee, died at 7:05 p.m. Feb. 3, 2012, in her residence, after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Nappanee, to Henry J. S. and Annie Borkholder Yoder.
A lifetime area resident, she formerly worked at NESCO, Bremen, and did housework. She was a member of Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary (and spouse Perry) Bontrager, Millersburg, and Laura (and spouse Bill) McGinnis, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three brothers: Harley (and spouse Inez) Yoder, Penns Creek, Pa.; Elmer (and spouse Donna) Yoder, Elkhart; and Marvin (and spouse Bertha) Yoder, Madison. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services were at 9:30 a.m. today at the Mervin Miller residence with The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial was in Borkholder Cemetery.
Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, was in charge of arrangements.
