Kathy Elaine TuckerMENTONE – Kathy Elaine Tucker, 70, of North Tucker, Mentone, passed with her family at her side at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at her residence.
Kathy was born on April 21, 1951, in Rochester, to the late Merl E. “Popeye” and Lucille F. Stamper Harrold. She married on Sept. 20, 1969, in the Akron Church of God to Steve Tucker; he survives.
She was a 1969 graduate of Akron High School. Kathy worked for Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation in Akron, Burket and Mentone elementaries for 25 years as a paraprofessional. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandson.
She is survived by her husband Steve Tucker, of Mentone; sons: Todd Tucker, of Mentone; and Ryan Tucker, of Warsaw; daughter, Kara Tucker, of Madison; and grandson, Maclain Tucker.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Harrold.
A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 in the Harrison Center Cemetery (Wooden), Etna Green, with Speaker Michael Walters officiating.
Visitation hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 21 at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone.
